Nothing helps determine the quality of life in our community more than the quality of our healthcare, and that's the motivating force behind Hamptons Health Society.

We are an independent group of concerned physicians, professionals, business people, and clergy who have come together to improve healthcare for all people living in and visiting our area--regardless of race, income, religion or orientation.

Our goal is to function as a think-tank, drawing on the knowledge of local independent physicians to identify and implement projects that will have the greatest positive impact on our community--from improved emergency services to continuing medical education for local physicians and nurses.

For example: to address chronic staff shortages, we have awarded an annual scholarship for nursing to a local boy or girl. (This scholarship is forgivable after a seven-year service commitment is fulfilled.)

We live here. We work here. And we want to ensure that local healthcare is the best it can be.
